The June Nintendo Direct Shattered the Internet: Ocarina of Time Remake is Real!
Nintendo just closed out its massive June 2026 showcase with a ground-up, exclusive remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time built entirely for the Nintendo Switch 2. A brief teaser trailer revealed a stunningly realistic young Link waking up in Kokiri Forest, with a full launch locked in for 2026.
Square Enix Drops a Bomb: Kingdom Hearts 4 is Day-One!
To prove that Nintendo’s upcoming platform has serious graphical muscle, Square Enix took the stage to drop another absolute megaton. They debuted the first real gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4, showing Sora fighting high-speed battles through a rain-soaked, photorealistic Tokyo district.
Square Enix officially confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be a day-one launch title on the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside PS5 and Xbox versions. They also announced a massive Kingdom Hearts Collection bundle dropping on October 8 2026, so players can experience the whole storyline natively on the go.
